Family raised puppies make better pets…

Our family raises our sweet puppies in our home with lots of love and attention. This may seem like just a nice benefit, but it’s actually critical to temperament and development for puppies as they grow. A study published in Applied Animal Behavior https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0168159119301613 showed that puppies raised in homes were less likely than those raised outdoors and in kennels to be aggressive, fearful and reactionary. The period of time that the puppies are with us is critical for their development and we are careful to gently handle them, provide a variety of stimulation, and begin early positive training.
